Sunbright Enterprise Company - Shenzhen, China

In 1989 Teem Tang, a Hong Kong citizen with a degree in Manufacturing Engineering from a Hong Kong University started in business in Shenzhen with one lathe and one customer. Initial products were precise gas flow parts and stamped metal parts made for industrial companies. The name "Sunbright" comes from the many metal sunglasses cases that were at one time made in the Sunbright factory. Teem added other lathes and presses and sourced locally other parts such as moldings to create a product line to satisfy his customer. The customer total is now over 20. There is a solid management team, ISO9001 and TS16949 certification, a complete quality manual and a good tool room. A wide variety of products are sourced locally so that Sunbright can satisfy the customer's need. Sunbright Shenzhen has a staff of 200 people including Engineering, Production Material Control, a large QA department, a Tool Room, and capable manufacturing departments. The factory space is 50,000 sq ft.

Sunbright USA, Inc. - Cleveland, OH

In 2003 Jim Moll formed a company in Mentor, Ohio to support Sunbright stateside. Sunbright USA, Inc. now handles quality assurance, accounting functions, communications, import if product, stocking of parts for customers, material planning, engineering support, expediting and other business functions as needed. When materials not available in China or Hong Kong are needed for a customer, they are purchased in the USA and sent to the Shenzhen factory for processing. The USA staff is 7 people. The Mentor warehouse/office area is 10,000 sq ft.
